A local-first app

ShiftPattern is designed to help you plan shifts, hours, and estimated pay on your iPhone. Your schedules, jobs, shift types, patterns, pay assumptions, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. ShiftPattern does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives this information.

What we collect

We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information. ShiftPattern does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics to follow you across apps or websites.

Notifications and widgets

If you choose to enable shift reminders, notifications are scheduled and delivered by iOS. The optional ShiftPattern widget reads the same local app data through Apple’s app-group storage so it can show your upcoming schedule. Apple’s handling of system notifications, widgets, device backups, and operating-system services is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

Your choices

You control the data in ShiftPattern. You can edit or remove schedules and other app data from within the app, control notification permissions in iOS Settings, and remove the app from your device when you no longer want to use it. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by you and Apple.

Estimated pay

Pay figures in ShiftPattern are estimates calculated locally from the rates and rules you enter. They are not payroll, tax, legal, or financial advice.

Children’s privacy

Because ShiftPattern does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version and date will be posted on this page.
